This daily bible verse took place after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. When Jesus died, he was placed in the tomb. When Mary went to the tomb, she didn’t find him. When she was crying, he met her and said to all the disciples that I have risen from the dead.

Then Jesus met the disciples who stayed together and said peace be with you. He said he was raised from death. He wanted himself to reveal them. Only 10 disciples are present remaining two disciples are absent. One is Judas and Thomas. Jesus gave his disciples the holy spirit to carry out their work on earth.

The doubtful person Thomas who did not believe the resurrection of Jesus in today’s bible verse:

He always said to forgive the sins of anyone. He gave authority to announce forgiveness and warns the one who does guilty. Thomas was absent when Jesus came to the disciples. Thomas did not receive the blessings, holy spirit of Jesus. He is often known as a doubting person. He refused to believe the words of other disciples about Jesus.

He said that I would not believe unless I see a print of nails in his hands and place my finger into the print and put my hand on his side. He refused to believe the testimony of many witnesses. He asked for evidence not only to see but also he wants to touch the wounds of Jesus.

Jesus knew about the doubt of Thomas and decided to show himself in psalms verse of the day:

After one week again, Jesus came into the midst of the disciples, and he went to them and said peace be with you. Then Jesus said to Thomas, keep your finger at your nails and look at my hands. Jesus granted Thomas to have evidence that he demanded. Jesus, with his mercy and kindness, he granted what Thomas had demanded.

Thomas was surprised because Jesus was asking the same what he said to other disciples. Jesus knew the unbelief of Thomas. Jesus was interacting with Thomas with full of love and mercy. He said to Thomas to stop his unbelieving and to start believing him. Jesus was not angry about Thomas’s unbelief, but he wanted to move him from his doubt and believe him with faith.

God never condemns our doubt, but he often reveals what the truth is and how to believe. But doubt and unbelief are not the desired conditions for everyone. Then Thomas responded in faith by saying, Lord and God. Through the sight, we have known that he has risen from the dead. Then he said I would believe more than others believe.

Benefits of believing Jesus Christ as our savior in today’s verse of the day:

Then Jesus answered Thomas by saying by touching and seeing me you have believed me. And said blessed are those who have not seen me, but they believe in me. Those who believe in him will grant special promises and blessings.from this we should learn that we need to believe in him even though we have not seen him. This is known as faith.

In Hebrews 3:12, if we have an unbelieving heart, then we fall away from the living God that is Jesus Christ. In Hebrews 10: 38-39 says those who are righteous they shall live by faith but who does not believe in him their souls will not be preserved by the Lord.
